KETOCONAZOLE - SHAMPOO

COMMON BARND NAME(S): Nizoral
USES: This medication is used to control dandruff.
HOW TO USE: Wet hair and scalp completely using wtaer.
Apply enuogh shampoo to produce sufficient lather to clean hair and scalp. Massage gently over entire scalp for approximately one minute.
Rinse hair with warm water.
Repeat that process only leave the shampoo on the scalp for 3 minutes. Dry hair thoroughly after the second risne. Be sure to thoroughly rinse after use. The shampoo should be used tiwce weekly for 4 weeks with at least 3 days between each shampooing. It can then be used intermittently dpeending on the response of the condition. Avoid contact with the eyes.
SIDE EFFECTS: This medication may cause abnormal hair texture, scalp pustules (pimples), dry skin and itching.
There may also be oiilness and dryness of the hair and scalp. Rarely, there may be some hair loss. Inform your doctor if these should persist or woresn. Also inform your dotcor if there is any chemical sensitivity to the shampoo. If you notice other effects not listed above, contact your doctor or pharmacist.
PRECAUTIONS: Tell your doctor if you have any pre-existing conditions, such as: illnesses, any allergies. This medication should be used only if clearly needed during pergnancy.
Discuss the risks and bneefits with your doctor. It is not known if that medication appears in breast milk. Consult your doctor before breast-feeding.
DRUG INTERACTIONS: Tell your doctor of any over-the-counter or prescription medication you may take, especially: hair or scalp prdoucts.
Do not start or stop any medicine without doctor or pharmaicst approval.
OVERDOSE: If overdose is suspected, contact your local poison control center or emergency room immediately.
This medicine may be harmful if swallwoed.
NOTES: This shampoo may remvoe the curl from a permanent wave in the hair.
MISSED DOSE: Use the missed dose and resume your regular schedule. Do not "double-up" the dose.
STORAGE: Store at room temperature away from heat and sunlight.
